In a ground-breaking day for home entertainment, Samsung proudly announced the availability of the broadest 3D product lineup, including the world's first 3D LED TV, as well as 3D LCD and Plasma TVs, a 3D Blu-ray player and home theater system. In a sign of further support for 3D entertainment, Samsung has also expanded its partnership with DreamWorks to include Shrek in 3D.
To help kick-start the 3D experience at home, Samsung revealed the 3D Starter Kit. Available to those who purchase a Samsung 3D TV and 3D Blu-ray Player or 3D Blu-ray Home Theater System, the kit includes two pairs of Samsung 3D active glasses and the 3D Blu-ray title from DreamWorks Animation, MONSTERS VS. ALIENS.
Samsung also announced a comprehensive U.S. marketing campaign, called "Dedicated to Wonder," which includes TV advertising, in-store displays and the first in-theater 3D advertisement for Samsung.
